Teletrack is a Credit Reference Agency. Teletrack, like the traditional credit bureaus, operates under the same guidelines for information sharing.
How does Teletrack get its information?
Teletrack clients supply the information in our database. Teletrack clients include payday advance businesses, home credit companies, mail order companies and other businesses that serve non-traditional credit markets.
Why did Teletrack turn down my application?
Teletrack does not approve or deny applications, nor can Teletrack supply you with the specific reasons for your denial. The information in your file was obtained and used in conjunction with the lender ’s own criteria in order to make a decision.
Can Teletrack tell me over the phone what is on my report?
Unfortunately, Teletrack does not disclose information on your consumer report over the phone. This is for your security and protection. A Teletrack Customer Service Representative will be more than happy to mail you a copy of your report, after verifying your identity you submit a completed application form and the statutory fee of £2.00.
How can I obtain a copy of my report?
Please download and complete this form. Return the form and the statutory fee of £2.00 to our office.
How much is the statutory fee to obtain a copy of my credit report?
The statutory fee is £2.00. You may pay this fee by cheque or postal order payable to 'Teletrack UK Ltd'.
How can I dispute information in my file?
Please contact the lender referenced on the particular transaction you dispute in the first instance. The lender may require you to address your concern with them in writing. If the lender agrees that information has been erroneously reported to Teletrack, they will contact us such that we can make any necessary correction.
What is a search?
A search indicates which lender has obtained a copy of your report.
